Certech is a research & development partner and supplier of analytical and technological services for companies involved in activities related to (bio)chemistry: polymers, pharmaceutical, medical and health care, environment and energy, automobile and transport, packaging, construction. Certech mission is to provide innovative solutions for the improvement or development of products and processes, in agreement with the principles of sustainable chemistry and circular economy to meet industrial and societal needs. Certech fields of expertise comprise environment/air quality/recycling; materials technology (polymers and composites); chemistry and industrial processes; analytical and technological services (including emissions and odours).

Key persons involved in NEXT-STEP
Clément Lemenu
Clément Lemenu graduated as chemical engineer in polymers and coatings. He joined Certech in 2018 as project manager within the materials technology group (polymers and composites) and also works as prevention advisor. His research experience comprises polymer processing, polymer recycling, biobased polymer development and foaming of thermoplastics.
Laurent Bilteryst
Laurent Bilteryst graduated as a chemist specialised in environmental sciences. He joined Certech in 2009 as an analytical scientist and, since 2011, he is project manager in the field of industrial hygiene and ambient air. Since 2018, he has been part of the teaching team for prevention advisors specializing in occupational hygiene and Level 1 prevention advisors at the Louvain School of Engineering (Wallonia, Belgium), in partnership with the Center for higher education in Walloon Brabant (Belgium).
