NEXT-STEP 18M General Assembly Meeting

The NEXT-STEP consortium gathered for the 18-month General Assembly Meeting in Ghent, Belgium.

The NEXT-STEP consortium met last week for the 18M General Assembly Meeting in Ghent, Belgium, hosted by our partners Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant and Ghent University, marking the end of the first period of the project.
Partners discussed achievements of this first period of the project as well as next actions and challenges, and it was followed by a project review with Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU)’s Project Officer to assess the progress of NEXT-STEP as well as a follow-up on its impact.

🥼 Partners also visited the impressive facilities and fermentors of Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant used within the project as well as Ghent University state-of-the-art labs and facilities at Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT).
