Mevaldi is producing bio-based building blocks and products for new bio-polymers and recyclable polyurethanes (PUR).
Mevaldi was founded in 2020 with the scope of investigating, selecting and bringing to market new technologies in the field of bio-based chemicals. The company is headquartered at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen, the Netherlands. The first products are now ready to be scaled up and tested in multiple applications.

Erik has worked internationally for a chemical multinational in various R&D, innovation, management, and venture scouting roles. After leaving the corporate business, he is now fully focused on scaling and bringing to market sustainable innovations. He is a founder of Mevaldi.
Kristel de Ridder
CCO
Kristel has worked internationally in chemicals, life sciences and strategy consulting. She has extensive experience in new product and service development and (digital) transformation. At Mevaldi, her focus is on growth, application development and partnerships.
Shyam Parameswaran
Application development
Shyam has worked internationally in application development for large chemical corporates. At Mevaldi, Shyam’s focus is on developing block-copolymers and working with customers on the development of applications.
